Fay House - Radcliffe Institute For Advanced Study

The objective of this project is to renovate the first floor of the Knafel Center with the intention of creating two larger and flexible meeting rooms to accommodate the increasing interest in the Radcliffe programs. The first floor will also include an expansion of the lobby spaces and restrooms as well as a “green room” to accommodate speakers using both first and second floor presentation spaces, supporting spaces for the seminar rooms, and a new stairwell up to the second floor event area. The scope of work on the second floor will include improvements and modifications to the HVAC systems and potentially the replacement of the original gymnasium floor. This project will be completed on a very tight fast-track schedule to accommodate the academic school year.
